LifeSpring Pediatrics wants to share with you the precautions that we have put in to place for you, our patients and families, in order to give you peace of mind. We will update our policies as needed based on the latest information as we receive it from the CDC, Hamilton County Health Department, and the City of Chattanooga until COVID-19 is under control. The first confirmed case of COVID-19 has been diagnosed in Chattanooga on 3/13/20.
These are the symptoms associated with COVID-19:
Symptoms may appear 2 to 14 days post-exposure
Mild to severe respiratory illness:
- Fever
- Cough
- Shortness of breath
Pediatric patients present with mild symptoms:
- Fever
- Cough
- Congestion
- Runny Nose
These are the steps we are taking to be proactive:
Sick Visits:
- Patients must call first to establish an appointment.
- You will be forwarded to the nurse line for triage.
- The nurse will call you back within 1-2 hours to triage your symptoms and decide on the correct course of action.
- If a LifeSpring patient shows up at the clinic without an appointment
- Front office staff will take your name and phone number and instruct you to return to your home and await a call from the nurse.
- The nurse will call you back within 1-2 hours to triage your symptoms and decide on the correct course of action.
Well Visits: There is currently no change in our scheduling of well visits. We will update you on any changes as they occur.
